I work for a Auto Ins company (one of the Top 5 in the US actually). The way it works with us is:

Repair - Comprehensive deductible does not apply
Replacement - Ded does apply

Some states do REQUIRE full glass coverage. Of all the states we cover (about half for our specific product) there are only two. Florida and Arizona. Other states do have the option of having full glass tho.

As repeated above, check with your insurance.

Where I live its like this, if you use your insurance, and want the deductible "waived" they raise the cost of the glass.

If you pay cash, it will be lets say $150.
If you pay with insurance, they will waive the deductible but the glass will then cost $300 to cover the deductible.

It should be FREE reguadless of Full Insurance or not as long as you have Insurance period. You dont pay a dedutable because Insurance replaces it for saftey reasons. Atleast were I live. Ive had 2 front windshields replaced because of rocks. You should beable to take it anywere some insurance companys may recommand a shop. I just dropped mine off gave them my insurance info went back picked it up and was done.
