My car left front caster is 1.72 (factory min is 2.00). I need to get it check to see what is bent. Besides bad handling are there anything else that can screw up my car?

If indeed something is bent, it could also affect camber and toe in/out and lead to premature tire wear.
I don't think you can do any serious damage to much else.

I just did an alignment and toe and camber seem within spec but I was still getting uneven wear on one tire..wtf?. I read about caster and it seems that it doesn't affect tire wear. I was just wondering how urgent it is to fix my caster.

Basically, it's the angle of the front kingpin compared to vertical. It tends to keep the car going straight ahead even without any steering input.
Think of the "casters" on a bed frame - the axle is not directly below the vertical mounting shaft.

Too much negative caster will affect tire wear, it causes your tire to wear on the inside edge instead of the center of the tread.

Caster is affected by strut or upper control arm mounting points, ball joints, and wheel bearings.

Good Luck
