I'll suggest the GTI simply because of gas mileage. Unless you're regularly towing/hauling or 4x4'ing, the dodge really isn't that economical.

GAS MILEAGE.... OMG this thing is terrible, 14 on a good day..

Simple. Get a diesel. Ford Lariat F250 4x4 Crew Cab with the 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel.


I'd get teh GTi simply because of better gas milage and it a safer german car. Spring for the R32 if you can. AWD has it advantages.

Also consider a Dodge Ram 2500 w/ the Cummins turbodiesel.
