But the 2004 Chevrolet Blazer 2dr 4x4 LS is a great choice. Lots of cash back and low % offers.

My problem is, what I expelled this morning looks better than the interior, But I'll stop by the local Saturn stealer today as well.

Gonna have lotsa notes after today

Bleh.

The ONLY way I'd suggest somebody buy a 2dr blazer is buy a one or two year old one used for half the price. I see dealers regularly offering low milage (20k-35k miles) '01 and '02's for around $12k-$14k.

Save 10g's and buy used if you really want this vehicle.

The Blazer is falling down on my list. If the Element were to offer the V-6 from the Pilot like the Saturn does, I'd be driving it by the end of the day. My other problem with the Element is the interior cargo capacity being around 650lbs.

element...

but really, why don't you just get a wrx wagon? it'd be more capable than any of those cars, and probably have just as much cargo space

The can throw all the incentives in the world at the blazer, but the fact is, you better plan on keeping it forever, cause the value is gonna drop like a rock. If anything, buy a low mileage 02 or 03 and save big money

With the way I have it configured, it's just over my upper barrier of $25k. That, and I would be going with an auto tranny, and the WRX is ment to be a stick shift all the way

Heh. That's why I said the Forester XT :) With some good negotiating you can get it for $25k...same price as the WRX. But, it uses the 2.5L found in the STI, and it also has a much better geared first gear than the WRX making for better acceleration with an auto. More torque + better gearing = good combo w/ an auto.

i know it's not awd, but what about a golf tdi? you sound like you dont need that much room anyway (with your imaginary junk), but even if you did the hatch holds a crapload of stuff. with winter tires, they're not bad in the snow.

maybe an impreza wagon if you're set on awd.

<-- detest suvs unless you actually use it :p

:Q I didn't know GM still continues to produce the normal Blazer... forgive me...
Same engine as my 01 Astro :)
4.3L v6 :)

However the Saturn is GM also and is built on the new suv platform shared by the Buick

I'm not biased really.. but in suv's and trucks.. GM knows the sheeet.. sedans/sports cars however; imports :D

If I had to choose, I would get the Element, because I was looking ot buy one; or the Blazer because it has more power and a real 4 wheel drive system.

I assumed you are just posting list costs, since the Element can be had in the same trim level for 18,500 around here in Chicago.

Crap! I was in a hurry and accidently voted for the Element! I meant to vote for the VUE! Can a mod change that or something?

Unfortunately, no.
What do you mean, unfortunately? It's a good thing.

wtf. worst choice of vehicles ever. i picked the least offensive (by a hair) vehicle - the element. but only because its a honda, which means itll last forever. although its obscenely ugly and underpowered, its better than the rest of those things.
