YACT......for married people

My wife and I decided to order an 05 g35 6M sedan after looking at the new Acura TL, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sienna. My wife will probably be the primary driver unless I work for myself and open an office nearby.
The new g35 will have about 277 HP and similar torque but a Infiniti dealer is installing super chargers producing about 400 HP and 300 lbs/ft of torque on the the 04 g35.

How do I convince my wife we need to add a blower to have the Ultimate Commuting Machine?

Why would you want to SC your wife's car when you aren't the one driving it?

I'd keep it NA to save on gas, insurance (if the insurance company somehow knew about the SC), and maintnance costs.

Maybe my wife is not a 'normal' driver since she has a great driving record and our insurance rates are very low.
Anyway I will probably be driving this car just as much as she and will end up 'inherting' it within a year or so when we move to something larger.
My wife enjoys the driving experience and refuses to get an automatic unless absolutely necessary this is also the reason we did not want any pedestrian type of transportation or we would have purchased a corolla or taurus.
As far as the car being fast enough already, I strongly disagree. My 02 Max actually felt quicker then the g35 demo so that is why I would like FI installed by an Infiniti dealer.

I guess this question would have been better served if I had posted it on an enthusist site.

The supercharger that your referring to is aftermarket, so by installing it, your throwing away your warranty. Just because that dealer installs it, doesnt mean infiniti backs it for service. Those numbers are really impressive, 400hp on a G35, but I would highly doubt that tranny would last an extended period of time with that kind of power.
However, as a car enthusiast, I do agree that the G35 could use more power, as it is not all that fast to begin with, but just be prepared when something goes wrong, cause it will be coming out of pocket (because infiniti will not warranty any kind of modifications you perform to it, or the problems they cause).

If thats the case just wait till you are the primary driver, then decide if you still want it, if you do prices will probably have come down a bit on it, and maybe gas too 😀
