uhhh you know they might not necessarily be messing with him, well it's not that obvious at least. 3kGT vr4 has active aero wings, they raise up in 50+mph.

Im sure that requires some kind of maintenance and lubrication, a lot of cars actually have problems with it, you get a a read "active aero" warning light on your dash

EDITL:

ha read it to the end, never mind...

I was right :

You guys are all pricks!!!! He comes to you for help and even though it's common knowledge on 3SI, you guys just leave him in the dark!
AA fluid is nothing more than Auto Tranny fluid. Mitsubishi repackaged it and sold it for more, but you can't find it anymore because they got caught. You can use any AT fluid you can find at Wal-Mart. Also, on the 93 the reservoir is in the trunk, next to the fuel pump in the pump access panel.

Apparently they even managed to fool you too!!

haha whoops, i stopped at page 2,
either way though it's not really that obvious. Those active aero things do have a lot of problems, but i guess its all electrict rather than hydraulic. It's not like fooling someone to try to find spoiler fluid for their accord

Reminds me of the thread of some guy here who was worried whether the RIAA could spy on him through Kazaa and I ended up getting him to reformat his harddrive. :p

I searched but I couldn't find it. It was a while back, but some guy was worried about the RIAA suing him and asked what he should do (if anything) about his mp3's and I somehow convinced him that the only way to be truly safe from them was to format his hd and some other crazy stuff. Yeah I get my kicks out of really stupid things.

A buddy of mine was going to the auto parts store once, and I asked him to get me some muffler bearings for my Jeep.
Funny thing was, the kid behind the parts counter didn't know either, and was going nuts trying to find muffler bearings in one of their books until the manager finally came up and realized what was going on.

Sort of the automotive version of a snipe hunt, I guess.

Telling your friend to find muffler bearings was funny. The fact that the guy working at the parts store actually tried to find them is just sad.
