YACT: Boxster Coupe

I was in line for my morning coffee this morning when I saw that the latest Road and Track has a picture of the new Porsche Boxster Coupe on the cover. This was news to me, so I looked it up.

Gonna look like this.

Looks pretty much like a 911 to me...

Yeah those are better pictures. Let me cobble some up with 3D Max just like that German magazine and post them so you all can look at pictures have have no relevance to the actual product.

German magazine Autobild published 3 new CGI-photos of the upcoming 2005 Boxster Coupe.

yeah, that does look almost identical to a 911 in a passing glance. The hatchback really clinches it. Still, it's beautiful!!!!

Those headlights have got to go. I hate hate hate them. Why would Porsche get rid of them only to put them on the Boxster? The Boxster has good looking lights already. Maybe they are for testing?

I've never liked Porsche, they've always been butt-ugly in my eyes.

Not saying that they're not good looking to other people, but they don't tickle my fancy.

Mid-engine flat-6 with 300bhp... yet a hatchback coupe with plenty of cargo space (for a 2-seater sports car). Very nice.

Hmm, not sure if I like the idea of it. Don't get me wrong, it looks *gorgeous*... but I think the lines between the 911 and the Boxster are becoming blurred visually.

Yeah. It needs to lose the bustle back and have a mid engined profile. The CGI one looks great.

Looks nice but still an overpriced POS. This one does have a better chance of getting my money than the existing Boxter. Just IMHO.
