YACT: Best way to unlock a '94 Intrepid

A friend locked her keys in her car and I said I'd give her a hand.

I've got a coat hanger, that's about it 😛. What's the best way to go about this? It's a '94 Dodge Intrepid.
 
um, break the cheapest window?

RAC usually use something that sticks in between the door and frame, then blows up and bends a gap, then they use a super coat hanger, i think.

That was what I was going to try. Shattering a window is probably not an option 🙁.

I'm not sure how effective this is but I've heard it works.

Take a tennis ball, and cut a small hole. Put the hole over the kjey hole, and push really hard until the door unlocks.

Apparently, the air pressure from the ball forces the key to unlcok.

Probably doens't work though

You could just use a plunger instead of cutting up a tennis ball if that were true 😛

Edit: Locks aren't airtight afaik, it'll just leak out through one of the many areas it opens to.

Not only that, but if that were true, you could just carry a can of compressed and go around unlocking cars or doors.

yea i saw that video on youtube too.. doesn't seem like it really would work though, i kinda was thinking that it was fake and they used a keyless entry remote to do it.

edit: on the other hand, slim-jims are handy, coat hangers work well often

if you really had some time you could always make a bump key, those never have failed me if you make them right and learn to bump correctly
