YACT: best factory exterior paint color?

Don't know about you but I'm tired of the same old boring silver, red, etc... I wonder if any manufacturers offer a metallic copper, same hue as a new penny?

Anyway, post your favorite here...

I hate my car's color. I only bought it because it was such a good deal. The color was, and is quite a turn off. Ford makes a light blue metalic color that I'd LOVE to have instead, but it ain't worth the cost to change it.

if you want something that's metallic copper, try le mans sunset from a 350Z, the PT cruiser also has a very similar color. if you want somethign more yellow/goldish, try futura yellow that vw offered for a 2 years or so, BMW also has a metallic yellow, but i don't remember the name at this point.

VW offers a wide assortment of colors, yellows, greens, blues, etc. one of my favs was matchstick red which look awesome.

I usually dislike yellow cars simply because most cars out there can't pull it off. It's kind of like pink shirts on men. But the Porsche 911 GT2 pulls off yellow (Speed Yellow) damn nicely.

White is nice but surprisingly difficult to maintain. My SO's car is shiny white like a brand new bleached shirt (Subaru Aspen White Metallic to be specific) and it shows dirt and imperfections worse than black IMO. Looks great when clean and all waxed up though.

well it looks good new and clean, but sucks after a few washes (im an autopia.org person btw), and chips super easily

its one of the biggest complaints on nasioc.

Where white is concerned, I LOVE Cadillac's pearl white. It looks perfect as long as there is no other white on the vehicle, like raised white lettering or whitewalls. Black would probably be one of my top favorite's, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to own it!

when u look at it from one angle, it's one color, at another angle it's the other color!

I see a lot of Nissans in that color... it's ugly. I hate white, second only to the teal or aqua or whatever similar color GM made 10s of thousands of Cavaliers and similar cars in.

Black looks good but it's hard to maintain.
