I know someone that's had one for ~10 years, and when it dies, he has every intention of getting another one. I personally haven't driven one, but if they're anything like my new 3, then they certainly get a  Only possible problem that I can see is size: as has been posted already, compared to most vehicles they qualify as spare tires - you can put one in the trunk and use it if your normal car breaks down :p

Well, if it's been around for ~13 years, reliability can't be *that* bad ;)

It is nothing like your 3. It's infinitely more raw and fun to drive ;):p

I don't know if they would really be that bad in the snow as long as it wasn't deep enough to turn the car into more of a sled. The last owner of mine used it all year in Ohio and I got caught out in mine once at work when it snowed and it did surprisingly well even with my summer only tires on it. 50/50 weight distribution and a LSD help a bit. I think you would have more problems with shoulder room if you're a fatty then if you are tall. You can modify thing to get a bit more headroom but there isn't much you can do about the shoulder room.

Mine is useless in rain and cold weather. If I mixed them it would be chaos, adding snow or ice would be scary. :p

They only have like 90hp at the wheels stock so I don't know how much trouble you can really get into in the wet :). Mines turbo charged and I still have no problems getting around in mine. I drove mine most of the winter but that was the only time I got stuck in snow with it. Any other times it was snowing I drove my van. I also have a hard top but I really don't know how much it helps with heat in the winter. My heater works pretty well anyway and my hardtop is one of the lower end ones without any liner so I don't know if its really much better insulation then the convertible top.

Looks like we have the same roll bar. Takes up several inches of my passenger's leg room.
