Alright,
i decided im gonna take it anyway, (well depending on the miles, condition etc.)
The price ($3990) is too good to pass up for a TT and i've been looking for one long enough. In the worst case scenatrio i can sell it off again if i really cant stand the AT

EDIT:
well ill talked to the guy today and he said the car has got 166k on the clock, HICAS problems and little bit rust. On the positive note hes flexible with the price, so ill probably drive down there with about 4 g in cash and see if he'd do 3500.

You'll enjoy the car. Unless you're really wringing it out all the time the automatic is nicer. I prefer manuals but the automatic in my Mark VIII (280/285) is just fine.

Just make sure that it's been cared for. Regular oil changes, idling after a run to make sure that the turbo doesn't coke, and regular transmission fluid changes. At the very least, transmission fluid in an automatic needs changing every 60,000 miles. 30,000 miles is better if the car is driven hard.

those arent quite plug and play thought. ~2500 will get me a JDM front clip with under 40k on the clock
My original idea was that above actually, guy near me is selling a project NA for ~2g. Problem is i wouldnt have time to do the swap anytime soon, as i have to take some classes over the summer and work fultime.

Z32 NA >> TT swap isnt all that difficult, theres only lil bit of welding involved (radiator mounts need to be shifted), and bit of grinding to get lower IC pipes to clear the NA frame (TTs have the area grinded from factory). Otherwise everythign else falls into place, you just need to swap the ecus and harnesses and use the TT radiator and AC condenser (not too sure about the latter). A ton of people have done that before

Do you even know what's involved in swapping an RB into a Z32?

I was looking for a newer TT when I was car shopping last fall. Have you checked out the 300 ZX dedicated websites to get technical background, meaning information about the problems, for the car?

I advise you see what all is wrong with the HICAS. I have it on my 240, and getting parts for HICAS is a such a friggen hassle. You could also just get a tomei or stillen eliminator kit and just nix the whole thing, though, personally, I love HICAS.

ha hicas parts are so easy to get. Almost everyone that drives a TT z32 is getting rid of hicas. You can get the whole rear assembly off tt.net for dirt cheap

I'd be worried about the rust more than anything. Rust is a pain to repair and the repair is never anywhere near as resistant to rust as the original was.

I suppose your situation is different. Super HICAS on 240s is very rare and as such, parts are hard to come by.
