Does anyone know if the leftover 2003 Maximas will be priced at invoice or lower since the 2004s have arrived?

Right now Im trying to do some research before I buy a car in the fall/winter with my own cash. I'm currently not sure what I want Im kinda leaning towards a 2003 Accord V6 LX. Sedan or coupe I'm not sure but my budget is 20k to 22k but I want really want to keep it closer to 21kish. I would strongly consider a 2003 Maxima SE if I can get one down to my budget constraints.

Right now Im going new since I dont know jack about cars. I suppose I'll go used in the future since I'll hopefully know more about cars.

I was also considering the 2003/2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege but given the huge markup due to demand it puts it out of my price range. I'm not dead set on any particular car, I probably wont until I get to test-drive in the fall.

I'm curious as well. I'm probably in the exact same position. Looking in fall/winter and in the 20-22 range.

Not really interested in a Maxima. I mean I like them, but as others have said, what's the point? Unless there is one huge bitch of a deal, I'm not really interested. Once we get close to 20 then I'll perk up :D

You seem to be worried about cost but don't want to buy a used car because you don't know enough about cars? Why don't you learn or ask for advice here and buy a really nice used car for less than $20k?

Yea I know ATOT has a ton of members that know a lot about cars. But reading people's posts and actually being in front of a used car and doing an inspection are two different things.

Buy a 2001 20th anniversary Maxima.. That's what Maxima I'd buy right now if I could. IMHO the bext Maxima yet.. last year for the 3.0L engine... least problems I have seen, overall my favorite maxima (other than the 98ish ones)

The headlights and the slightly restyled front bumper on the '02+ make the car look MUCH better, not to mention the 6-speed manual :D
