anyone know if it requires 89 or 93(92?) octane? if so which one.

winter tires, so im looking at putting MAYBE $800 into the car when i purchase it. new tires, and a new windshield.

99 9-5 loaded out basically, base model.

88500 miles

$5500 asking.

Normally I would say the Civic... but I like those Mazda 3s a lot...

It's in the air for me... Civic or Mazda.

The Saab would undoubtedly be the fastest, and most fun to drive car in that group. But perhaps you should ask yourself why a $45,000 car from MY2000 is going for $13.5k when similar European cars are worth substantially more.

Because Saabs are maintenance nightmares. And I mean, nightmares. Expect at least one trip to the dealership a month, and about $6000 in repairs a year.

Practically, the Honda. I say go for the Saab though. Its a real car, not some penalty box.

whats your arguement then about the 70K infiniti going for less than the saab while being only 1 year older and 25K miles more?

THe Mazda 3 will be pretty fun to drive, economical, reliable and durable. That's what I voted for.

I mean, unless you're someone in the position to spend Saab money on repairs. In which case, the 9-5 Aero is a rocket, and with a few mods, can shame most cars on the road. It's also one of the absolute best handling FWD cars on the road.

It's a Nissan, it's not fun to drive, and there's really nothing special at all about it.

Please dont buy a car, put a muffler on it, and drive around thinking you own the world. I hate these newbs that put on a muffler and think their car is the shit.

A Saab 9-5 Aero with turbo back exhaust and a chip would own the better part of the world.

How long do you want to keep this car?
What car do you have right now? Are you satisfied with reliability? Are you willing to spend a bit more in upkeep?

Just with what we know, the Mazda 3, it's pretty new out of them and you'll be happy with it

Also, it won't depreciate as fast as some of the other cars there

currently driving a 98 GMC jimmy, had to pay nothing in upkeep.just normal maintnence. im loosing the car to my brother however as i never paid for it just my parents did.

i want to keep the car 3+ years or so. if i spend the 5500 on the Saab then id keep it till it dies, or i had to front a large bill on repair, its just that cheap.

At this point, just buy a car and STFU with your god damn threads. You're worse than Redhotjrm with his incessant "What soap shall I wash my Infiniti I30 with today", "Should I drive my car 2 or 3 mph over the speed limit" threads.
