Hello All

The family Caravan has a strange indicator problem wherein the turn signals will completely stop working. Also, since the indicators are linked to the DRL, these are not active. I replaced both bulbs but still no go. However, sometimes an odd sound similar to a fuse/switch reseting emanates from the left bottom, near the hood release and the lights will work for a few moments. If indeed it is a bad fuse/switch, does anyone know the part number/cost/ease of installation?

Thank you

Please let me know if there is not sufficient information to diagnose the problem

Well, if it were an older car, I'd say the flasher/relay has gone bad and needs to be replaced, but I don't know if they still use those.
If so, it should be relatively cheap and painless to fix.

That was my first thought, yes. Though it may be combined with the DRL system too since they are linked together.

I'm assuming that you mean the left floor of the passenger compartment, which is typically near the fuce/relay panel in modern cars. I would check your owners manual, it should list out the names of the relays and allow you to determine if your Caravan does use one. I'd say there's a 99% chance that will fix things.

The left floor refers to the drivers side. The owners manual is a bit simplistic in that it does not mention the name of the relays

Meh. I once had a car that every time I turned right my horn honked. After a while whenever anyone looked at me (because my horn honked when I made a turn) I'd just wave at em like I knew them.

There were probably hundreds of people out there trying to figure out where I knew them from.
