Most dealerships are beyond clueless. I don't know if it's a a communication breakdown between corporate offices and the dealership marketing, or if the dealers are just that ignorant.

Most of the time brand based fan clubs are a much better resource. They will know pricing, content changes, and color choices before a dealership even knows that a particular model even exists/is being shipped.

Granted the fan sites aren't always right, but they are often quite close.
