I've owned labs, goldens and German Shepherds and none attacked themselves in the mirror. So maybe they couldn't pick their own face out of a book of mugshots, but they were smart enough to know there wasn't another dog in the room.
 
It was awesome when he ran into the mirror really hard and the guy busted out laughing!!! Rambo is also an awesome name for that dog!
