ok, so i'm looking for a good engineering college, i know absolutely nothing of colleges, the only decient ones i know of are purdue (sp?) and colorado school of mines. i'm thinking about EE as the major, but not entirely sure about that, suggestions? My grades for reference.

thanks for the suggestions, lemme know if there's anything you need to know that i'm missing

edit: i pretty much think that cisco is out, so disreguard the link except my grades

bump for more suggestions if there are any... so far i've gotten Milwaukee School of Engineering, seems good, but i want to check out more

if you have amazing grades, Carnegie Mellon- ask vshah. He graduated from there with an EE. Also have a friedn going to University of Maryland College Park- he says its a great mix of everything while being a very good school, socially and academically.

i am probably going to be asking the same question in a year or so, so it would be great if anybody could tell me any good colleges for engineering in the western US, most preferably as close to Salt Lake as possible.

I like MIT a lot, you should apply there. Work is tough but there are some great people there (professors/TA's/students) and so much to learn

MIT, UC Berkeley, Stanford, UIUC, Caltech for top top top notch schools

Purdue, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Texas (A&M or Tech.. can't recall), for very good schools.
