I applied for there Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® Card and got rejected.

I am a college student and now have had a USBANk CC for about a year (2500MAX)

It is now 100% paid off and I also have a loan out for 4000$.

I have never missed a payment on either or. The loan has been out for roughly 4 months.

Do they have credit score tiers for there cards? I am really into building my credit score, haha. Should I go ahead and apply for the college card version ? It has been about 5 months since they rejected me the first time.

Any ideas?? ROSSMAN, come to me :D

I was not able to get one until I had an income and I had a previous student credit card and bank account beforehand.

I see it says : No minimum income or co-signer required

would this mean I should be good to sign up and get it this time? I dont want to have another credit check for no reason!

I have had a checking account with Wells Fargo for 5 years and I have had a checking account with USBANK for 2 years, a CC (2500 MAX) with USBANK for roughly a year, and now have this loan out.

EDIT : I have an income of roughly 20k a year, as well as being a college student.

how long was that when you got rejected by citi?

just apply for it, if you get rejected again, that's a free credit report :)

I re-applied for the college card this time, wow they definatly didn't want as much info as the non-college version of this card!

hopefully I get it this time :).

love the cashbacks they have.

I dunno who decided RossMAN is the all knowing god of, well, everything.

The Citi Premierpass has the lowest non-student underwriting requirements.

If you were approved for that you could convert into another product.
