Cliffs:
Cop: "You're under arrest"
Teen girl (Yelling): "Nuh uh, I'm waiting for my momma to get here!"
Cop: "This isn't a debate and I don't have to wait for your mamma. You're under arrest and you're coming out to the squad car. This is your last warning"
Teen Girl (Still yelling): No, I ain't goin nowhere with you!
Cop: How's this pepper spray taste? [ok, he didn't say that, he just sprayed her]

When will people learn that if you are not in the wrong, you will have a chance to contest your arrest. But when you are under arrest, if you fight/resist/yell and scream, the cop's gonna taze/spray you, and you'll deserve it.

Cop cleared of any wrong doing. and the video says girl got $60k in a civil suit, but I'm thinking the city settled. Would have cost the city more to go to trial and win.

Paging jpeyton 'cops are all evil rant' in 3..2...1...

The problem isn't the settlement, the problem is the fact that the cop was cleared of any wrongdoing. His badge doesn't give him the right to go in the back of a fucking Wendys and arrest some underage chick because he THINKS he was shortchanged. Thats abuse of power, IMO. If he WAS right that he was shortchanged, he should have taken it up with the manager, like the rest of this country.

No workers are ARRESTED for making a mistake at a cash register, thats not the way this world works.

DAYTON, Ohio -- The police chief on Friday fired a patrolman who arrested a fast-food restaurant worker, then doused her with pepper spray in a dispute over payment for his food.

Police Chief Ronald Lowe said Officer Michael McDonald's conduct violated the community's trust.

"There is no room for callousness, non-conformance to community and police standards, nor brutality in policing today," Chief Lowe said. "He was callous, non-conforming and brutal in his treatment of Brandy Martin."

Mr. McDonald, 33, who was a police officer for 12 years, had been on unpaid leave.

it's good to know that some law enforcers of this country are so stupid cannot tell the difference between a $10 and $20.

That cow knew her rights and she was rewarded $60k for it.

but yes, he should be castrated for being a pompous idiot.
