Those look familiar..;)

I have one sitting in my trunk..picked it up on FS/T a while back. It does provide power, but I was getting a high-pitched noise with it. Not sure if it was the $11 wal-mart wiring kit, if I needed a crossover (no x-over on it), or whatever..but let me know if you want it. It says 2x120w 2ohm stable..not sure on the brand, but I can take a pic if you want.

Haha, I finally got around to putting them in. The amp I got now says 600w max but it can only put out 40 x 2 RMS @ 4 ohm and I can definitely tell that they are under-powered! They get all distorted at high volumes. I'm not getting any high-pitched noise though.... must be the amp. ;) Also the subs are 4 ohm so could I wire them to work at 2 ohm? I got them wired w/ the just the left and right channel on my amp now. I'm still get confused on 2 vs 4 ohm and the different ways of wiring them....

Bridge the amp and piggyback the subs.

piggyback?
Couldn't think of the actual word. Basically you bridge the amp and bring the positive to the postive of one sub and the negative to the negative of the other sub. Then connect the negative of sub 1 to the positive of sub 2. (Series is what it is called I believe.)

Oh ok, I get it. I not sure if I understand why that would provide more power than the way it's hooked up now since it still has to power 2 subs......

Do they sound good (minus the high volume distortion)? I never did get them set up properly in my car..

I should be getting a lanzar 4 channel amp in this week, I will let you know how it is. (4x125 rms @ 149.99)

2x125.

*note: if you are going to get a lanzar, be sure to get a Vibe, and not a viberant, the vibe's are supposed to be a lot better...

wiring there is a list of wiring configs if you need help with it.

yeah, best thing about it is the price, then the amount of power, and having the remote bass control is an awesome bonus too. if you need any amp wiring kits, i would highly suggest knukonceptz. Great high quality cables for a pretty low price.
