Damn, I can't wait till I'm out of college and have money so I can enjoy decent beer. I've been living off Keystone Ice and crap like that.

I need dark delicious beer in the house. :(

Highly recommend Bel Haven Scottish Ale. The St. Andrews Ale I didn't like as much.

The Oatmeal Stout by Brekenridge Brewery is very good as well. Cheap (for oatmeals) too! $5.95 a six pack. Great dark beer on a budget.

And sorry Mookow about the Sammy Smith. :(

I second the Youngs Double Chocolate stout. I've been buying it for $2.50 a pint.

Honorable mentions -
- Sierra Nevada Porter & Stout
- Anchor Steam Porter
- Lienie's Big Butt double bock
- Lienie's Creamy Dark
- Newcastle Brown
- Rouge Brewery Chocolate stout

Guiness draft, or if not, Guiness in the can is the way to go. Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Murphy's Irish Stout are both carried by my local Harris Teeter and are both really good. Newcastle is a great beer. For a "lighter" dark beer, Yuengling Black and Tan is awesome. Sierra Nevada B&T is great as well. Actually, everything in the Sierra Nevada sampler 6-pack is good. The Yuengling Porter is really good as well, but they don't carry it down here in NC. :( Okay, getting thirsty...

Ditto that. This has replaced Killians for me because of the cheapness and full flavor. MMMmm mmm

I gotta go with Young's Double Chocolate Stout and/or Oatmeal stout.

As far as I know, and am concerned Young's makes the darkest beers out there.

There's a mix of brown and black beers:
Chimay Blue
Dragon Stout
Vondel
Maredsous
McEwan's Scotch Ale
Duchesse de Bourgogne (This one is really peculiar)
Storm King Stout
Trois Pistoles

Ever had Oasis Zoser Stout? You could stand a spoon up in that stuff. Yum. :D

Guinness fan for life.

Also enjoy Beck's Dark.

Looking to expand my horizons, but I seem to keep coming back to Killian's when the budget requires the cheapness. Gonna try Yuengling B & T.

CHEERS! :D
