i own a kiss guitar, so i'd have to say kiss. never got into their music though.

they both suck
but "fire breathing blood spitting demon" sounds less gay than "not quite sure if they are men or women band" so i vote kiss

I was never into KISS in the least. Poison, on the other hand, has some catchy tunes.

That's a tough call, but I'd have to go with KISS based on longevity...although I like almost every song on the Poison-Flesh & Blood CD (except that crappy thorny rose ballad)

Hard to argue with KISS' longevity. Been around since 1974. I think too many people discount a lot of the music they made in the 1980's. They put out some good stuff but didn't fit the whole glam thing that was going on very well.

I gotta vote KISS as they were the real first concert I went too. Plus I never liked poison.

Go back and listen to KISS's song "Black Diamond" and then realize that was like 1973 or 74, it was very heavy for it's time.

Just listen to the album ALIVE. Many still regard it to be the best live album ever made. Really raw and caputred the band well.

my first album EVER (even before any of those kiddie albums or anything) was KISS Alive II (from my big brother)
Greatest Live album EVER.

I saw KISS open up for Aerosmith a couple of years ago. It was terrible. I lost what little respect I had for them after suffering through their garbage.

2nd addition...whatever AT wants to say...all the guys are in money and can probably get just about anything they'd like.

KISS revolutionized the scene. Like many before and after them...being that mark puts you into a different light.
