Hard to argue with KISS' longevity. Been around since 1974. I think too many people discount a lot of the music they made in the 1980's. They put out some good stuff but didn't fit the whole glam thing that was going on very well.Originally posted by: Electric Amish
That's a tough call, but I'd have to go with KISS based on longevity...although I like almost every song on the Poison-Flesh & Blood CD (except that crappy thorny rose ballad)
Just listen to the album ALIVE. Many still regard it to be the best live album ever made. Really raw and caputred the band well.Originally posted by: aircooled
I gotta vote KISS as they were the real first concert I went too. Plus I never liked poison.
Go back and listen to KISS's song "Black Diamond" and then realize that was like 1973 or 74, it was very heavy for it's time.

This thread reminded me to go look at my few remaining vinyl albums.
I still have this from when I was a kid (Dressed to Kill) it's in rough shape but I've kept it around anyway.
