okay i guess some people have issues :p

i'm not saying they're the epitomy of punk, i'm just saying that their music can still be called punk. especially since there are tons of unknown bands that sound more or less like blink, and are called punk without any problem.

being on a tv station or in a magazine doesn't define the genre of music you play.

no, no it doesn't... but i'm not going to sidetrack this thread. just think about all the other music genres and how they're defined.

lol punk is the only genre where so many people try so hard to make it exclusive.

How many times have you heard "that's not punk" vs. "that's not rock" or "that's not country" or "that's not jazz"? Most bands, people will take their word for it when they say they play a certain genre. But when it comes to punk, somehow there is a lot of debate about what belongs in the category.

on a daily basis? suburban legends, spring heeled jack, unwritten law, mest, ben folds, and mad caddies. go ahead and make fun of me for listening to unwritten law, ben folds, and mest, god forbid i listen to anything that's played on the radio.
