So I've got two days a week that I've got enough time to get to the gym. Tuesdays and thursdays... I think the break between thursday and the next tuesday is going to be bad.. :(
Can't help that really, 8a to 8p mon, wed, fri.

So I was thinking about breaking it up like this:

Tuesday- Legs, biceps, back
Thursdays- Shoulders, chest, triceps

With each day started with streching/20mins cardio, and side bends/situps.



I've broken the groups into incompatible threes so I don't overwork any overlapping group (tricep/chest?) since I've only got the two days.

I'd like to have three days, but saturdays are unpredictable, and I don't want to break routine.

Plus I think I'll go two weeks bulk, two weeks cut.

What may be a better way to slice up these two days?

Sunday - Legs/Back
Tuesday - Biceps/Shoulders
Thursday - Chest/Tris

IMHO i wouldn't bulk for only 2, but you may know what you are doing with that.

Do you think I should bulk for 3 or 4? For some reason I've got 2 on 2 off in my head as a good idea.

If you only have 2 days that you can go, then yes, that is a reasonable split. I would n't worry too much about a lot of biceps/triceps on "bulk" days b/c you triceps will get a tough workout doing chest and shoulders. And you biceps will get a decent workout doing back. After doing back, 5sets max should be plenty for biceps.

I usually do the Back/Biceps... Because when you workout your back, you are also working out on your Biceps..

Do Shoulders/Legs..

2 days is better than no days.

I really load up on the cardio when I can only get to the gym once or twice per week.

Last week I ran 4 miles on the treadmill after lifting.

I usually do the Back/Biceps... Because when you workout your back, you are also working out on your Biceps..

Do Shoulders/Legs..

I realize that, but I'm trying to do a push/pull.

I've got to work up to that, so maybe I should go 20min before and 20min after lifting?

I'd think after all that trouble I went through to find that pic, plus all the views that "naked" and "chick" bring to a thread, that I could get a bump every 4 pages down this goes.

I would also do squats on Thursday also.

More squats = bigger muscle groups used = your body will produce more testerone = you will bulk overall faster = better

I don't believe in the I have big legs already thing. You can still benefit from more squats. Just a good 6-8-12reps x 4 sets will do depending on what cycle your working on etc.

What about abs and back?
