Anyone trust this compnay? I'm ready to pull the trigger on the 120 Gig, but I'm a little nervous.

From site's Info Page:

"This is not an e-commerce site. This site is used SOLEY for the purpose of demonstrating the Actinic e-commerce package."

Doesn't look like a true site just yet...

This has SCAM written all over it. If you've got cash to blow, go for it. Otherwise, stay away like the plague.

<< amex ...here I come .. >>

But you need a date on the advertisement page for amex to work. Also he show a picture of a 160 G, the title say 120G 7200 rpm, and the description says 120G 5400 rpm...seems shady...

Guys, did you not click on the "Info" button? It specifically says in large font...

<< This is not an e-commerce site. This site is used SOLEY for the purpose of demonstrating the Actinic e-commerce package. >>

He is not trying to scam, he lays it out pretty clear I think.

I agree. Looks like a website used to attact potential website customers (i.e. the guy builds websites and this is a demo). What kind of true reseller would put this in the description: "Maxtor's site sucks but here's what they have."

I wouldn't try it either. Interesting though, he does have a secure link for checkout. Too bad some of his links don't work and the images don't match the descriptions.

looks like a mock up page for sure, the 20gig and 30 gig maxtor models are the same price? it looks made up
could be an info gathering site in disguise also.

Then why is everthing else priced about where it should be??

Maybe trying to get people to sign up or get CC numbers?

If you ordered, have you got a e-mail from them yet???
Thanks

Yeah, it's a totally shady way to attract customers who might be interested in buying the Actinic e-commerce package.

Not only that, have ANY of you inquired as to how the site was found?
