I still love lost. Haters need to STFU. The shows are the exact same length as others, so all the commercial whiners can go away too.

It's going to be another X-files and Alias where none of the questions are answered.

This scares me as well.

Apparently they already have the whole show mapped out, so there shouldnt be a fear that questions wil go unanswered.

I thought I read that one of the producers said they make some of it up as they go along?

I think other shows must have longer, but fewer, commercial breaks. Because I swear last night barely 10 minutes of show would go by between commercial breaks. At one point I remember looking at the clock during a commercial break and the time was 8:30. Then I glanced at the clock when the next commercial break started and the clock said 8:37.

Thus why I don't watch it on TV. Shows like Lost and 24 are not meant to be watched on TV.

I just hate how it seems as though nothing really happens in each episode. They could have condensed the last 3 episodes into 1 quite easily. It's like they're dragging it out for a reason.

I listened to an interview of J.J. Abrams on Stern. He said that they have a 'Lost Bible' that only a select few know the contents of. They have a general Idea of how the progression of the show will go, but they leave opening for unexpected turn of events. Which I am sure they have done. That explains the part of writing as they go along.

I'm getting tired of having 100 questions going in to every episode and coming out having maybe answered one or two and I have 10 more to add. It's driving me nuts. I just think they need to move things along a little more quickly.

Does anyone else feel this way? More importantly, are you getting to the point where you would consider not watching it, at least until the series is over so that you can watch everything in a row?

I liken shows like this to reading a series of books that are being written while you read them (like Jordan's Wheel of Time for the last 12+ years).

You never know when they will end and they become very frustrating for this reason.

I find the fact they don't reveal much helps the show immensely. If they went around revealing stuff all the time people would get tired of it and stop watching. Of course if they go to slow people get fed up and quite watching. It's a tough balance but I think they've done a good job of it. I find watching the dvds are a lot more enjoyable than watching every week because you managed to notice more and don't have to worry about commercials and missing something important. I still watch the show every week because I really enjoy it and like the fact that it's slowly giving up secrets and every episode sort of gives a little info and makes you wonder what's going on. Things alway tend to move slow in the middle of the season, generally the beginning and end of the season have a lot more action. That being said this season is more entertaining than last season just because of episodes every week.

I really need to check out Heroes now because I keep hearing lots of good stuff about it.
