my gf needs one in order to work tomorrow (just got a job waiting at some classy restaurant). she needs it before work tomorrow. where can she get one for cheap? walgreen's clinics don't carry it.
If she was trying to get a job at a restaurant why didn't she get the Hep A shot beforehand?
Also, she's gonna need two shots.

Anyways...

This:

Q. What about new hires?
A. New employees have 30 days to get the first shot. During this time they shall have no contact with ready to eat foods.

Full list of public health clinics in your area

This. Public health is your friend. You can find the location, cost and, time online. I'm sorry but, this is something you should have a clue about before leaving home.

Yeah, I'd think that anyone would think of that first, especially if they didn't have a PCP.

I think folks might be a tad less upset about taxes if they had any clue what services are offered.

Yep. Weird, I asked my wife (nurse) - she said that any health care provider should be well aware of where to go for things like shots. PCP first choice. Local county health department 2nd choice. In the vernacular of theflyingpig "Everyone knows this" - at least they should, if they're in the healthcare field.

I only troll chat roulette 😉

In this thread, I was just agreeing with a previous statement by eits.

just so we're all clear, i laughed when i read it... i just felt like i needed to justify why she doesn't have insurance. she's got two kids, paying part of her way through college (other part is scholarships), and has to pay for rent, food, bills, car insurance, etc. she's healthy and doesn't have a risky lifestyle. to her, paying a bunch of money each month isn't worth it when she's never sick... especially not for the off-chance that she'd need a vaccination for a job.

Find a travel clinic.

Say you're going to South America.

Will probably set you back $200.

I'm Canadian so I got my doctor to do it for free...

With two kids it's would be more about the kids getting sick. When kids get sick or break bones or whatever kids do, well it costs a lot of money.

but if the kid gets sick or breaks their bone... he can adjust their spinal column.

it all works out in the end.
