Gopher gatecrashes holiday photograph

DON'T you hate it when someone walks in front of the camera while you're having your picture taken?

Melissa Brandts and her husband had set the timer and waited with fixed grins - then this gopher popped up into the frame.

The couple were in Banff National Park, Canada.

Amazed Melissa, of Minneapolis in the US, said: "We had our camera set up on some rocks.

"It became intrigued with the sound of the focusing camera and popped right into our shot."
