Hi,
i use nero burn v5.5.24 to cd-copy, but it only reads at 8x
but my cdrom is 32x

what is wrong?

and i can only write at 4x instead of 8x.
my burner is 8x4x32x

disc is Cursor(Gigastorage) yellow

Are you making a copy of another physical CD? If you are doing that and use a regular CD rom drive to read the source CD while the burner burns onto a blank, then maybe your regular CD-ROM drive can't extract data/music at the full speed of your burner. My brother's PC has a 32x CD-ROM drive and a plextor 12/10/32, it's only able to copy a CD from the CD-ROM drive at about 4x or 8x depending on whether it's a data or music CD being copied.

Also is the cdrom and the cdrw on the same ide channel..ide is not great at mutltasking..so if they are on the same ide channel this will slow you down ..can you place them on different ide channels..

Also is DMA on or off
