I purchased a 5th gen iPod that I am using in my car. The problem I am having is that my damn tape player is too smart for the tape adapters. I've had to purchase 4 or 5 adapters just to find one that actually works. The one that works connects to the bottom of the iPod instead of the headphone jack. Now I can't use the wireless remote or charge it at the same time.
Does anyone know of a Y-adapter for the bottom connection that would allow me to plug two items into it. Or any other ideas as to how I can get this all to work (without buying a new head unit for my car, I did that to get the tape player).
