xvid problems

I have some xvid files and when I try to make dvds out of them the picture is upside down and reversed. Anyone know a fix for this? Is the some xvid to divx converter or something? I am using mydvd and showbiz to burn the disks and they work fine will all but xvid files. Thanks.
 
the problem is in the codecs....i've personal use nimo codec pack and uncheck off FFShadow filter thingy (very important otherwise u will get garbled picture). try installing this or some of the other xvid codecs, tho the problem of uninstalling codecs is a pretty tricky thing from my experience since there always seems to be some remnants lying around
