I'm thinking about getting a gig compact flash or sd card, and was wondering if anyone had watched xvid videos on their pocket pc. I have a toshiba e740, that has pocket pc 2002 on it. I found this. But I don't know if works or not. Thanks in advance for any help!

i have divx on my palm zire 72 (new intel cpu 😀) i use the mmplayer which has the codecs in it, but i cant stop it from dropping frames like crazy and the synching is terrible

i dont no, i got a pny 512mb sd card for mine, and it seems alright, it played top gear ok, its jus movies and i think its coz i re divxed a divx to make it smaller so it would fit

I have a 1G SD card & a Pocket PC (Win Mobile 2003) and I watch movies.
I first rip the dvd, then using WinMedia Encoder I encode it for PPC (320x240) and watch it full screen in Mindows Media Player. Looks & sounds good. (to me)

My pda can play Xvid but the quality is low. I can't get audio and video synchronized, and the video is not played smoothly. I think the fps is about 15 or so.

Intel 400MHz cpu and 64M Ram...

Do you mean Xvid needs higher processor speed?
