I own XPS2, my buddy has the 9300. I believe the weight with battery (but not power supply) is 7.5 (9300) and 8.6 (XPS2). I would guestimate the battery weight at roughly a pound.

That's a great estimate - I finally got lucky and reached someone at Dell.

I9300 => 7.85 Lbs Battery 0.57 Lbs
XPS Gen 2 => 8.6 Lbs Battery 0.88 Lbs

The battery weight difference is only because the 9300 comes with the 6-cell standard. If you get the 9-cell it will be the same weight as the XPS 2 9-cell (.88lbs).

I know this.. I just received a 9300 and it feels lighter than my hp zt3010us with only a 15.4inch .. and it feels more durable..

Okay, i just saw a screenshot of someone running 3dmark2005 on a gen 2 and he scored just over 6000... anyone else manage to do that?

1gig of ram and 2.13Ghz cpu

You got the core up to 546? :Q Is it normal for this thing to reach that? Is it safe for the card in a laptop?

i believe that's what the stock settings should be. no one seems to have a way to over clock the beast yet.

In the anandtech review, it says the clocks are 450 core and 1100 memory. His core was 106 mhz over that, and is memory was 37mhz under the 1100. So, that's obviously overclocked.

Yes the core was set to auto overclock through the drivers and no it is not stable at those speeds.
