XP90C + Gigabyte = No Work

Well, essentially I've got a thermalright XP90C heatsink and a Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-9 Motherboard and the heatsink won't work because of Gigabyte's assinine heatsink mount holder's method of connecting to the motherboard. The only other solution I can think of is to buy another heatsink or try using the one out of my Socket 754 Athlon. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Or is it possible that I can use two nuts on the bottom to hold the bolts in place?

Have you considered purchasing Thermalright's mounting hardware? BTW, I have also read (I believe on Thermalright's site) that Gigabyte retention mechanisms are not compatible and so an after-market one has to be used.

Looks like that will work. Thank you, bud ... I was so frustrated over this. Now I just need to find it 😛.
