Just wondering if anyone's recently bought an XP2500 from Googlegear, and what stepping they got. Their retail ones are $93... $1 cheaper than newegg. That's where I got my last one. But now I'm curious if they have the newer steppings too that I might be able to get 2.3 or 2.4 Ghz out of.

Googlegear does a good volume so I'd be surprised if they weren't shipping the newer dates, but bump for someone who's purchased one there lately.

Feel better. I got mine from googlegear a little while ago and paid $136, and you don't hear me crying. Oh, wait....wah, wah, I HATE when that happens to me......every month or two.

Same here... I'm just curious if they have the new steppings that I might be able to get another 100-200 Mhz out of =)

Well, if you are going to buy a new one, I'll take your old one - at a significant discount, of course. After all, you've been voiding the warrenty by overclocking it.....:Q;)
