XP x64 Memory Usage

I just upgraded to XP x64 and to 4GB from 2GB of Ram.

My ram usage is at 80% using IE 7 and watching a video on VLC.

Does this make sense? It seems like it has been climbing over the 7 hours I've been on my computer.

I'm currently running Utorrent which I heard there might be a memory leak problem with.

Also, when I use task manager it says my pagefile is only at 700 megs or so. Most of the physical memory is being used in the cache - what does that mean?

1. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
2. Select the "Processes" tab
3. Highlight the "View" menu right above.
4. Drop down to "Select columns"
5. Check "Memory Usage" "Peak Memory Usage" "Pagefile Usage" etc.
6. Now close the selection window and go back to Processes tab.
7. See what's eating up your RAM.
