I just finished my first build and got the hardware part done right. But, having problems with OS, drivers, internet and such.
My current setup is as follows:
Airport Base Station connected to cable modem.
iMac (OSX) and iBook (Linux) wirelessly connected runs fine.
PC (XP x64) connected by ethernet LAN does not want to connect to internet. Need help.
Disabled firewall on pc. Removed WEP security on Airport.
When I go into command prompt and ping the default gateway, it fails. The pc is able to *see* the airport base station, but beyond that, no go. I don't know how to resolve the problem. MS support documents weren't helpful.
I installed Airport Admin Utility and everything checks out ok.
