I'm fairly new to XP, I've been with W2k for a long time. I find it aggravating that if I open Windows Explorer and click to highlight a drive, it will expand that drive's folders, but it also collapses any other drives that were currently expanded. Is there some place I can set an option for that?

Not sure I know what you mean.

This is coming from having gotten a Flash Memory Drive. When I stick it in the USB, a drive "E" appears in Windows Explorer. I would like to be able to expand the C and E drives in the Folders pane and keep them expanded as I do stuff. I can click on the + boxes by the Drive headings, and get as many folders expanded as I like, but as soon as I click on the heading for E so I can select folders off of it to drag onto the C drive where I want, the C drive collapses and I have to click the + again to open it in the Folder pane so I can do my dragging.

Small potatoes, yes, but .....

Go to Control Panel->Folder Options->View->Uncheck Display simple folder view. This really shouldn't be an issue; I survive with it and it prevents clutter in my opinion. If you want a folder to stay open you press the plus sign. Clicking on another drive will collapse the previous drive, but you can just press the plus sign on the previous drive and the folder view should reappear.
