XP vs MP?

Now that they both have the palomino core, is there any 'real' difference? I know the MP OFFICALLY supports MP, but will a XP run in a MP config as well?

This has been beaten to death lately; and honestly I don't think anyone is 100% certain of what will happen to future XP's and SMP.

We'll have to wait and see. As it stands now XP's work fine in dual mode.
 
That's pretty much what I was looking for, if the CURRENT XP's work in SMP. There really is no way to tell what the future will hold for anything. Although who knows, with my current income I may have to wait for 8-way Clawhammers to be less than $20 each for my next upgrade.
