XP user accounts... can't play game in secondary account. Please help.

Hi all,

I came home for the summer from college. I just got a new game that my dad really likes, but his machine won't run it (Medevil: Total War). So I set up a secondary account with no password so that he could log in and play it, and I wouldn't need to give away my password. Well, when he clicks on the shortcut to start the game, the small splashscreen for it comes up and then dissapears. The game doesn't load.

Anyone know what is up?

1. Does it run under your account?

2. Is your account an Administrator?

3. Is your Dad's account an Administrator?

4. Try to run the game as a Power User vs regular User and see if that works.

Some programs require/request things from the OS that only an Administrator has access to.
