dllcache is in system32 folder. it is hidden system. if u didn't uncheck hide that sh*t in folder options then u won't see it. read the tutorial

i read the tutorial. i've had hidden folders visible since first installing xp. it's not there.

You have to have system files enabled too

Still trying to add some stuff to y'z dock, gonna make menus from the icons soon. 😀

can you tell me how you got the transparency i tried glass2k but that is horribly slow when you try to drag a transparent window and it does not do what i want either

i want any window that is in the back ground to be transparent which looks like you have

can you tell me where you got the AIM icons also?

Iceman's Jaguar theme no longer available at the site (dead URL.)

Methinks Apple has pressured his host into removing the file. Any mirrors (or can someone host it for me?) I had it before but I deleted it and then I realized it didn't work cuz I didn't patch uxtheme.dll properly 😛

If you can't find the dll cach on sp1 xp install then you just have to boot into safe mode and follow the instructions on icemans site.
Icemans Site

Also here is Y's Site

Does anybody know where i can find a good set of mac icons othere than these two sites because i still don't have a my docs or a my pics icon.

Just resurrecting this great thread from the dead for those who haven't seen it. My laptop's skinned as such right now🙂 Haven't gotten around to doing it on the desktop though🙁

i just found that ati's hypervision software works better then yzshadow for transparency*if you have ati obviously. transparency must be hardware accel or something, it no longer lags a bit on right click menus and stuff. theres a setting for transparent windows while moving.. its pretty smooth too. gotta keep yzshadow for shadows though, hypervisions shadows suck.

still havn't found a desktop wallpaper changer/fader like that in osx though. constantly cycling through wallpapers. or a nice screensaver equiv to osx.

I have been working with iceman and getting all aspects of the OSX theme's to work propperly. If you look on his page, he has alot more to offer than just the basic visual style theme. Anything from icons, to system files, to programs, to tray properties, dlls, control panels, etc etc, including modified version of windows components. It is very tricky to get it all working, and i'm on day three of getting it done. There are many windows protection back doors you must take in order to get in through the ntfs system to overwrite many of the files like shtml.dll. Point being, give it some time and you can get basically every aspect of the windows enviroment to look like OSx.

I will post pictures of my results.

Items that will be modified the most are: Control Panel, Misc. Programs, Icons, Start Menu, Windows, Toolbars, Buttons, General Theme, Docking Station, dialogs, and much more.

this is a sweet post... i had an almost perfect OSX Aqua theme going for a while until Apple busted everyone who was using it. Keep this at the top

That Y'z dock is awesome. I'm not really interested in making my whole GUI resemble Jag, but this is very cool.
Does anyone know where to get more png icons for it?

you can't quite get png files for it, but what I do is get the 128x128 icon sets and convert from .ico to .png.

Iceman has some good icons, but another set is: http://www.xicons.com/

There you can learn how to convert and do all sorts of other cool things.
