Everyone I work with has the classic start menu - but I like the new Start Menu, I think it's more functional and allows easy access to alot of key features.
I use the classic, tweaked a bit with X-teq's X-Setup.
Got rid of that damn annoying Help and Support button (click it accidentally, and watch as the hard drive churns trying to load the program).
I just liked the look and feel of the old program. If I want all my frequently-used programs, I just do Win95key-D and go to my icon-laden desktop. And by icon-laden, I mean 64 icons, currently.
yup, im another fan of the new double panel start-menu.
got everything on the gui to look like 2k but i kept the xp menu, dunno why, i just like it, though i do use an extensive quick launch bar also, ....
guess as a stoner i like as many shortcuts i can have so i can find the durn things
btw, when using the XP start menu, how can I alphabetize my start menu? Recently installed items always end up on the bottom, and I dont want to manually move it.
I prefer the classic start menu. For lots of stuff (notepad, calc, etc.) though I just Winkey+R and type it in.

I like the new XP menu. If I use a program frequently, it's shortcut goes in my Quick Launch bar, but I like the convenience of having most recently used shortcuts just one click away. Also, it keeps my desktop nice and clean.
