XP Standby Mode

I had recently migrate (reformat - brand new install) from Win98SE to XP Pro. During my stay with W98, I was able to active the Standby Mode and bring it back to life with a click of a mouse or enter key.

But now with XP, once it goes to standby, it would not come back up. I have to turn off and boot from scratch.

I am using the same HW, so I have no clue as to what is wrong.

Any suggestion?

thanks.

System: Win XP Pro, ECS-K75SA, AMD 1.4ghz, (2) 40 Gb IBM HD mounted on Promise TX100 RAID card - config for Raid 0, SB Live 5.1, MSI Starforce 831 (Nvidia GF2 Pro 64mb DDR Ram), 1 GB or DDR RAM, 8x4x32 CDRW, 16X Lite-On DVD Rom; 350Watt Enermax AMD Approved PSU.

What setting do I have to verify?

Monitor Standby?
Turn off Disk?

Hibernate?

Thanks.

BTW, under BIOS I have already selected ACPI.

I set ,
Power Schemes to "Home/office Desk"
Turn Monitor off "After 1 Hour"
the rest to never

Then on the tabs at the top of the window:
Advanced:
uncheck in Opitons
When I push power button on my computre:
Power Off
When I push sleep button:
Stand by

On the Hibernate tab:
enable hiberate

see if this helps
