XP SP2

I would say it's worth the upgrade. Many patches/security fixes are all bundled up in a nice neat package 🙂 Firewall is kinda a nice addition too for people who aren't already running one.
 
The only reason I didn't upgrade to it was because it made ZSNES run like ass. New version of ZSNES is out, so that's no longer an issue.

Beyond that, it seemed to have several genuine improvements, especially WiFi support.
 
some games actually require sp2. Chronicles of riddick did, even though it only said sp1 was needed. I had problems getting it to work, but after sp2, it was fine. Go for it, the improvements are nice, and my network is running better and more secure.
