XP SP2 slipstream question

When you slipstream XP sp2 and create a new CD does it only slipstream sp2 or does it slipstream xp2 plus any updates that you currently have?

I slipstreamed sp2 a year ago and wanted to know if I should do it again for my new install. I would hate download all the updates for the last year.

The slipstream is to the point of the last service pack, so yes you'll still need to grab updates since. When SP3 comes out it will reset the clock (at least until enough new updates come out after you're in the same boat again...)

thanks, since I slipstream sp2 last year i don't need to do it again 🙂

you can slipstream all the current updates into the install disk if you want to, but unless you are using the disk for multiple install, not really needed

ok, well thats what I want to do. I would like to slipstream the MOST current version of XP onto a CD. How do I do that? Anybody have a link?

It has been a while since i have done that but usually the easiest way to slipstream them is to download all the updates from ms or use RyanVM Pack and can use niteos which easily intergrate the pack or downloads and create a bootable cd as well
