XP SP2 limitation of a single pop-up per page - does it affect AT forums?

I came across this info on this site, and knowing that certain things, like replies, and PMs, generate pop-up pages, I was wondering if this new change in XP SP2 might affect the operations of the forums. (Specifically, reading PMs and then PMing back.) I use Firefox, not IE, and I haven't installed SP2, but I thought that it should be pointed out, in case it is potentially a problem.

Usually you use the window.open method to make popups. Also, that is IE only so you shouldn't use it.

I have IE6 with SP2 and I don't have any issues.
