Just installed SP2 on my family's computers. Working smoothly; the new security centre looks good; a few other nice touches here and there. Some people are saying that this is huge upgrade, even to be considered a new operating system! But there doesn't seem to be anything I can do now that I couldn't before: is there?
Is this going to have a huge effect on worldwide computer security and viruses? Even spam, if Win XP computers can't be infected with spam-generating viruses?

Toom me a while to shut off that damn security. Thing would "warm" me everytime I rebooted. Only way to get rid of it is to shut off its service.

I DL'ed SP2 on Sunday, but I'm still a little hesitant to pull the trigger (yeah, I'm paranoid). My system is running great with SP1, so I'll probably wait until it appears on the Windows Update site, and then install the file that I downloaded 2 or 3 weeks before. :)
