I'm trying to shift my pagefile off the second harddisk, in order to format the thing.
So I go right-click My Computer, to the Performance Settings options screen, etc etc and hit "change" under virtual memory. Put a "system managed size" partition on my boot drive, hit set, then change this to "no pagefile" on the one I want it removed from. Hit OK a couple of times, reboot, and all seems fine - except that there is still a 1gig pagefile.sys sitting on the drive!
FWIW/other problem - the reason I'm formatting is that second HDD has 3 "partitions", or more accurately one partition and one extended partition, the latter consisting of two logical drives, one of which I want to merge with the other partition - and the other logical drive being the one with the swapfile on it. I just want 2 "partitions". (metaphorical 1000 words)
