/edit: i just asked my friend about his xp hoem and it opens in about 12sec and he hsa 512mb/2.4 p4/hp pc what is wrong.. grrr Also he says when he just opens it froim desktop isntead of taskabr it opens in 1sec.. any others like this?
I have no idea but xp is slow for me it would take about 10 sec to open xp on bootup but on win2k it opens in 1 sec. What services do i disable in windows xp to make it run like windows 2000 and i already know about messagner, indexing,server,....
(i been to sites for disabling (rojack?) tell me what YOU disable on your pc YOU.
I like 2000 b/c of its speed but im a "fancy gui" person and 2k just looks soo ugly! Windows xp looks good with a new theme from windowsblinds and windows 2003 looks good when you set it up to use xp "GUI" Some reason windows 2000 looks like win98 and too 90's, while xp looks so new GENERATION and brighter (not the xp theme). When i have xp on my pc im more happy, but with win2k im in a down mood (lol) I got all 3 os's and.....

ALSO NOTE: My specs are below in the sig part. Thanks and my ram is 2100 (266) @ 300) so.. 1 (256 pc2100) 1 (256 pc2100) 1 (256 pc3200) but speed been the same without or with the 3200 one.
