XP Question

I'm running XP and ME Dual booted, both FAT32. For example, If I have XP on C:\ and ME on G:\ and I use NTFS for XP. Would I be able to boot into ME since ME doesn't recognize XP. Like my D:\ would become C:\, E:\ becoming D:\... I'm not sure if that happens though.

You will be able to boot to ME(FAT32) but once you are booted you will not be able to access files from the drive/partition that XP(NTFS) is on. If you boot to XP(NTFS) you will still be able to access files from the drive/partition that ME(FAT32) is on.

I have a dual boot with 98SE(FAT32) and XP(NTFS) each on its own hard drive and the above is what I have experienced.

oh ok thanks.... now i gotta redo my whole HD again because damn ME is corrupt... Gotta restart every time i boot into ME because of registry error

Hi,

Make sure you install Win ME FIRST , and then XP or 2000. This is why you are getting registry errors.

Any more tips needed PM me.
